I’m Jasper Finney and I’m running for VPA.
Some concrete things I will to do as VPA is:
- Introduce optional OUMSA weekly events email.
- Introduce optional subscribable OUMSA calendar that integrates with your email app.
- Extend office hours and make the office more inviting.
- Post on the instagram as much as the facebook to increase engagement.
- Consult with cohort artists to revitalise promotional materials. (Along with the communications rep.)
- Explore employing email management software to ensure all requests or ideas are addressed.
The hard part of this job isn’t the responsibilities, these are relatively easy if you are thorough and well organised (which I am), the hard part is going beyond the job responsibilities to ensure that this coming year is the best you will have in med school.
