PVL
This is a leukocidin (kills neutrophils). It is a pore forming cytotoxin which means it inserts into the cell membrane causing lysis. This can cause more damage as cell contents spill and damage other things. Found in necrotising pneumonia, necrotising fasciitis, sepsis
